Tony Carr

Tony Carr has worked as an educational technologist since 2000 after an earlier career in Economics and Business education. His operational and research interests include online collaboration, communities of practice in staff development, online facilitation and online professional networks. Tony is the convenor of the e/merge Africa professional development network which is mainly for educational technology practitioners and researchers in African higher education institutions. He has designed and led eight online conferences.

Professor Moustapha Diack

Professor Moustapha Diack is a Senegalese native affiliated with the Department of Science/Math Education (SMED) at Southern University A&M college(SUBR), member institution of the Southern Unversity System (SUS) of Louisiana, United States. Professor Diack is the Executive Director of the Digital Education Consulting (DEC) Group of Senegal. Diack is a global leader in the fields of Open Education Practices (OEP), AI for STEM education (AI4STEM) and AI for Development (AI4D).

AI Horizons Co-Chair: Dr Alice Barlow-Zambodla

Alice Barlow-Zambodla

Dr Alice Barlow-Zambodla has more than 30 years of research and lecturing experience in Higher Education (Agriculture, Biology, Botany, Science Education) and 20 years of Research and Development experience in NGO sector (project management, academic programme development and implementation). She is the Research Support Convenor and Network Development Consultant for the e/merge Africa Network and the Umzimvubu Landscape Director for Conservation South Africa.
